What new in the 13th edition of the Idaho Diet Manual:
- Diets align with the Nutrition Care Manual Diet Manual. Diets deemed “obsolete” by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Nutrition Care Manual, have been removed.
- Texture modifications are all in sync with the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI)
- Diet information in the manual may be printed off and used for education material for patients and/or staff
- Reference materials in last chapters….ideal body weight chart, BMI chart, table of weights and measures, medical abbreviations list and more
