Kim Young is the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Coordinator at Panhandle Health District (PHD), serving the five northern counties in Idaho. Prior to her position as WIC Coordinator, Kim held the position as Registered Dietitian in Health Promotion at PHD, in which she worked with child care centers and worksites to evaluate and improve their wellness policies and practices. Aside from her position at PHD, Kim teaches Community Nutrition to senior dietetic students at the University of Idaho. She has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition; and earned her Master’s in Family and Consumer Sciences, all from the University of Idaho. Kim serves on the Board for the Idaho Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and she enjoys advocating for and living a healthful life through nutrition and physical activity with her husband and family.
