PS – here is the fine print – this applies to students who are graduating and will change from student member to active, for new members and for returning members. (from Idaho Academy editor)
Help the Idaho Academy increase it membership. We have 396 members now – highest ever. Let’s shoot for 450 ! 500! or more.
Here’s how it works (written by Jim Weinland from the Academy) The form is above – just click the link.
This is an annual recruitment contest held amongst the affiliates. Each affiliate is assigned to one of four challenge categories based on membership size. Within each size category, the affiliate that recruits the most new members from March 1 – September 1, 2013 will win an award.
You are inCategory 1: Alaska, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming
I have attached your affiliate challenge application. As you can see, it containspromo code AFC14. This promo code is how we will track results for this contest. You will get credit for any new member that joins with that promo code within your affiliate. The code is on the form!!
Here are the program guidelines – please let me know if you have questions on any of this:
The affiliate challenge runs from March 1, 2013 – September 1, 2013, and includes the following recruitment options and exceptions:
Any qualified applicant who was not a member in the 2012/13 membership year that joins for the June 1, 2013 – May 31, 2014 membership year using promo code AFC14 is counted for this contest.
o Applicants within the student member category will not be counted in this contest.
o A member in 2012/2013 who renews their membership for the 2013/2014 membership year will not be counted in this contest.
- Any qualified applicant who was not a member in the 2012/13 membership year and joins for the 2013/2014 membershipyear prior to May 31, 2013, will receive the remainder of the 2012/13 year at no charge.
- Beginning on July 1, 2013, an affiliate can recruit anyone for the affiliate challenge who was a member in the 2012/13 year, but was dropped from the Academy membership roll by June 30, 2013 and therefore, did not renew for the 2013/14 year.
Remember, members consistently rate the Academy’s organizational units as a valuable benefit and peer-to-peer (or grassroots) outreach has proven to be the most effective way to recruit and retain members.
Thank you in advance for your efforts.
