Coordinator, CNP Team Nutrition Grants Position Description
The Team Nutrition Grants Coordinator, under administrative direction from the Director of Child Nutrition Programs, performs work of considerable difficulty and exercises independent judgment, initiative, and leadership. The principal function of the Team Nutrition Grants Coordinator is to provide leadership in promoting, expanding, and maintaining grant programs. Responsibilities include coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring compliance for grant-funded and other programs between the federal government or other granting entity, the State Department of Education (SDE), and educational agencies in the State of Idaho. The position provides training and technical assistance to program sponsors, maintains current information about regulatory and other program requirements, and coordinates program efforts with relevant public and private entities. The principal duties of this position are performed in a general office environment, but may require occasional overnight travel. This is a full-time position serving under appointment of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
