Thank you for the 14 members who responded to the delegate survey regarding the discovery phase about the role of the RDN in health and wellness. I was humbled to be your delegate in Boston for the House of Delegates meeting this past October. The attached pdf represents my report hod-fact-sheet-outcomes-of-fall-hod-meeting , so please take a moment to review the overview of Appreciate Inquiry and the outcomes of the “Discover” and “Dream” components.
The next phase is “Design” and this is where you come in…. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be reaching out to those members who responded as the key players in Wellness and Prevention in our state (Sarah Renaldi, Kyli Astle, Melissa Sleight from St. Lukes and Rachelle Ausman and Heidi Martin at Saint Alphonsus, and Marni McDowell at Micron) for a face-to-face interview or phone conference. I will be looking for best of stories of what success for wellness and prevention. I will also be asking the question: Tell me about a time when you were willing to take a risk in the area of wellness and prevention and it motivated you to submit the outcome because it surprised you?
I invite you to be part of my small group discussions, or feel free to email me with your best of story! Please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your story or even to determine the best way for you to get involved. I look forward to hearing from you in the “Design” phase of this issue.
As always, thank you for your support and efforts! I appreciate you and everything you do as an Idaho RDN!
