Clinical Dietitian Saint Alphonsus – Nampa, Idaho PRN/On-Call
Job Summary: As the Clinical Dietitian, you will perform nutrition assessments, develop care plans for patients, and respond to physician requests for consultations. You will also provide nutrition education for patients and staff through written materials, lectures, in-services, etc. You will communicate as appropriate with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to assure that all interventions effectively complement one another. You will also identify learning needs of clients and caregivers, provide appropriate instruction and assist in the Peer Review/Quality Improvement process.
Work Schedule: This is a true PRN position. You will be scheduled at least one day per pay period (bi-weekly) if not each week if it is available. You may also be scheduled to work one Saturday per month and some holidays.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition required. • Must be licensed with the Idaho State Board of Medicine with a “Provisional License – Graduate Dietitian” and obtain full license within 90 days of hire until passing the national registration exam to be a Registered Dietitian (RD) • Clinical experience preferred.
